About PT Gayathri
P.T. Gayathri is a passionate online music teacher with over 20 years of experience in teaching and performing. She is a disciple of Smt. Patibandla Janaki, retired Vocal Lecturer at the Government Music and Dance College in Guntur. Alongside her extensive teaching journey, Gayathri has also built a strong presence as a performer, both as a Carnatic vocalist and a Kuchipudi dancer. Over the years, she has received several prestigious awards at inter-collegiate competitions for her musical achievements.
As an experienced online singing teacher at Artium, Gayathri has been part of the platform since its early days, guiding students through structured and engaging online music classes. She focuses on helping every student perform at their best while building a strong musical foundation through personalized Carnatic vocal lessons. Her teaching also extends to Telugu light music (PFM) and karaoke singing, making her sessions versatile and enjoyable for learners of all ages.
Gayathri strongly believes that following one’s dreams is one of the most powerful lessons a teacher can share with young learners. My Teaching Philosophy
My teaching philosophy is rooted in passion, perseverance, and the joy of sharing music. As a singing teacher, I believe music is not just about learning notes or techniques. It is about discovering confidence, creativity, and self-expression. Every student who joins my class has a unique voice and potential, and my goal is to nurture that individuality while guiding them on a strong musical path.
I strongly believe that we should never give up on our dreams. This is an important lesson I try to pass on to every student I teach, especially young learners. When we pursue our dreams with dedication, we not only grow as individuals but also inspire the next generation to do the same. Music becomes a lifelong companion when students feel encouraged and supported in their journey.
In my classes, I create a friendly and motivating environment where students of all ages feel comfortable exploring music. Through Carnatic music, Telugu film music classes, and karaoke classes, I help students connect emotionally with the songs they sing. I combine traditional learning with enjoyable practice so that students improve their skills while also enjoying the process of making music.
My approach is to make learning engaging, build confidence step by step, and help every student discover their love for music. When students enjoy singing, whether it is classical compositions, Telugu film songs, or karaoke performances, they naturally grow into expressive and confident performers.
