Katyaoni Mukherjee

I am Katyaoni Mukherjee, a trained vocalist and teacher of Hindustani Classical Music. I have been immersed in music since the age of five, learning under the guidance of my respected gurus. Over the years, I have had the privilege of performing on several esteemed platforms and have been honored with accolades such as the prestigious CCRT Scholarship from the Government of India, the Sangeet Prabhakar title from Jodhpur, and the Ratna Award from the royal family of Mewar, Udaipur. I have also performed multiple times for Sanskar Bharati. Currently pursuing my M.A. in Music, I continue to deepen my understanding of this rich tradition. I am a firm believer in the guru–shishya parampara and aspire to become a guru who can lovingly and sincerely pass on my knowledge to future disciples, carrying forward the timeless legacy of Indian classical music. I find joy in learning, growing, and nurturing meaningful bonds with my students.
