Trichy Selvam Lakshmipriya, born June 16 in Tiruchirappalli, is a Carnatic vocalist, veena artist, composer, and Ph.D. research scholar. A child prodigy, she earned Gold Medals in B.A., M.A., and M.Phil. (Vocal Music) from Kalaikaviri College of Fine Arts under Bharathidasan University and Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Music and Fine Arts University. With over 12 years of teaching, she has trained 1000+ students and guided numerous arangetrams. She has performed internationally, presented research papers, won multiple awards, and continues inspiring through concerts, compositions, and dedicated music education.
