What certification means

From passion torecognised progress.

A graded music exam is an independent test of your playing or singing, set by a recognised exam board. Pass it and you earn a certificate that shows exactly where you stand, recognised far beyond your classroom. Artium prepares you for graded exams with its own Exam board along with others such as Trinity College London, ABRSM, RSL and the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya.

Why it matters

Structure that keeps you motivated.

  1. 01

    Clear milestones

Graded steps that make progress tangible.

Every grade is a defined step with its own technique, repertoire and musicianship goals, so you always know what you are working towards and how far you have come.

  2. 02

    Global recognition

Certificates recognised well beyond your classroom.

Work towards grades from ABRSM, RSL, Trinity College London and the Gandharva Mahavidyalaya, alongside Artium’s own OfQual-accredited certification.

  3. 03

    Practice with purpose

A clear goal for every practice session.

Working towards a grade shapes what you practise between classes, with assignments, recordings and resources from your teacher in the Artium app.

  4. 04

    A record of real progress

Each certificate reflects what you can really do.

Certificates reflect technique, repertoire and musicianship assessed over time, and can carry UCAS points where applicable.
