Its scale takes shatsruti rishabha (R₃), antara gandhara (G₃), prati madhyama (M₂), chatussruti dhaivata (D₂), and kaisiki nishada (N₂), with Sa and Pa fixed as always. As a sampoorna parent scale it uses all seven swaras in strict order, both ways.
