Raag Gunkali
A raag of the Bhairav thaat, Gunkali comes into its own in the 1st prahar of the day. It uses five swaras on the way up and five coming down. Phrases centre on Dhaivat - the vadi, or king swara - answered by Rishabh as samvadi.
