Its scale takes shatsruti rishabha (R₃), antara gandhara (G₃), shuddha madhyama (M₁), shuddha dhaivata (D₁), and kakali nishada (N₃), with Sa and Pa fixed as always. As a sampoorna parent scale it uses all seven swaras in strict order, both ways.
