Its scale takes chatussruti rishabha (R₂), sadharana gandhara (G₂), prati madhyama (M₂), shatsruti dhaivata (D₃), and kakali nishada (N₃), with Sa and Pa fixed as always. As a sampoorna parent scale it uses all seven swaras in strict order, both ways.
