Its scale takes chatussruti rishabha (R₂), antara gandhara (G₃), prati madhyama (M₂), shuddha dhaivata (D₁), and kakali nishada (N₃), with Sa and Pa fixed as always. As a sampoorna parent scale it uses all seven swaras in strict order, both ways.
